First held in 1824, this celebration of Shakespeare's birthday has all the usual participants: civic dignitaries, VIPs and invited guests from the worlds of literature and theatre, students of Shakespeare’s school and characters in period dress, marching bands and local schoolchildren making their way through the streets towards Holy Trinity Church.

Stratford will provide the backdrop to an exciting food festival. The festival will pack the streets with delicious food stalls
Held on the Sunday and Monday morning with about 300 cars returning to park up on the town centre streets which will be closed to normal traffic with a great display of high performance sports cars filling Wood Street in the centre of Town.
Sparkling gifts and festive local produce, homemade and homespun crafts, handmade cakes and bespoke decorations, a wide range of stalls offering a range of delights, traditional roast chestnuts, warming mulled wine, ciders and gin, linger over the luxury of Bailey’s chocolate.
