Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A fantastic clean and well maintained property with everything possible catered for. It is a step away from all that this beautiful place has to offer. Claire is a fantastic host and has thought of everything. We'll definitely be back.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stayed at Bakers Dozen for the weekend while visiting our daughter. What a beautiful cottage! Everything you could need and more! The little touches - tea, coffee, sugar, toiletries, etc. Then, a lovely welcome gift of cakes, wine, and milk. There were books, magazines, games and dvds and a really helpful information pack. It's so comfortable and beautifully decorated! The two gardens are gorgeous! It's just a few minutes' walk to all of the shops, restaurants, and sights. A real home from home. Can't recommend enough. We will book this place again when we next visit Stratford.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Advertise as Pet Friendly but are anything but! Still happy to take your money though and then only advise you that you are not allowed to bring your pet when you are too late to get a full refund! 🥵

Owner's reply
Our terms and conditions have been the same for 15 years and can be confirmed by your booking agent. You did not read them and I’m sorry. You booked our property but did not read them of your own admittance!!! You expected fully us to allow you to bring TWO dogs. You had not informed us about bringing any dog less alone multiple animals and shocked we would not accept it. You need to take this up with booking.com as they were your booking agent. We did nothing wrong! You did not stay at our property and when you realised we would not have two dogs you requested a full refund 4 days before the checking date when we knew it was highly unlikely that we would be able to relet at such short notice. We did not mean to be awkward but we have bills and a mortgage to pay and this review is not true and unnecessary!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a wonderful week of sunshine and Shakespeare. The house was perfect with car parking in the nearby street and at the station only a few minutes walk away. We had lovely breakfasts in the sunshine on the back terrace. Provided with everything we needed. The bathroom was big and shower worked very well. Everything was clean and well presented. No hesitation in recommending the house for anyone who wants to be in walking distance of all the sights and wonderful restaurants.

Amazing location - just 5 mins walk to Shakespeare's birthplace, house was lovely and had everything we needed and more, lots of extra touches like wine and tea/coffee/milk, Claire was incredibly helpful and responsive to messages, would definitely come back, one of the best self catering properties we have stayed in!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The accommodation is in an excellent location within walking distance of all the major attractions. It is well presented and the host is very helpful. The bathroom is outfitted to a high spec with a bath and separate shower. A parking permit was arranged by the property owner for the duration of our stay (Easter weekend). We would definitely use this property again in the future.
